The only Dance wear you need is the proper footwear. You mentioned the older boy picking on you, you should stand up for yourself son. Don't let bullies get away with it. Be a man and confront him on his actions. If he trys to hit you again, aim for the throat. or bring your elbow down hard on his collar bone. He won't be "slapping you around" again any time soon.
