I think you should go enroll in ballet school; you're right, ballet is a wonderful art.  Get yourself some fine ballet clothing --- I suggest a white leotard worn under black or grey tights.

Ballet for boys is not at all freaky.  Look up "baryshnikov" on Google to discover one of the greatest male danseurs ever.  Ballet really needs more boys, there is always a shortage of boys and men.  If it is something you wish to pursue, you will always find people eager to work with you.

As for people making fun of you --- that's their loss.  Learn as much as you can about Mikhial Baryshnikov and other great male danseurs --- what they did, their famous roles, etc.  So when people make fun of you, you will know that it's OK, you're following in a glorious tradition of really strong men.  Then you can be strong yourself and not worry about ignorant people.  The ignorant people will go away and find something better to do than tease you.

Keep studying computers.  I'm a professional dancer and a computer professional.  Being good at computers will take you far.

Don't practice ballet at home.  Go to a ballet school.  Get your mom to take you.  Get someone to take you.  The teacher will be eager to have you in his/her class, but you really do have to get there.

As for pointe --- you are still too young for pointe.  You can't safely start studying en pointe until your bones have stopped growing --- probably another few years.  You also need to have been studying ballet for a few years --- at least 4.  So four years from now, if you want to start studying en pointe, you might be able to.  Although boys almost never get to perform en pointe, it can still be a good way to train.  Most male danseurs have trained en pointe at some time in their lives.

As a boy, you will get black or white ballet slippers.  Sometimes men today also wear pink slippers --- the shade of "pink" is actually more like the shade of many peoples' skin, so it looks good without socks.  Don't worry too much about the pink pointe shoes either.  They come in "skintone" shades as well.  They also come in black --- usually for men who want to study en pointe but don't want to wear pink shoes.  Anyway, pointe shoes are a long way off, you're still beginning.

Good luck and enjoy dancing!
