written by J.S. on 02.08. at 22:46:34 I always pose even better when I feel someone is looking at me, but without making eye-contact because this ends the looking session, so I "acknowledge them" thorugh the corner of my eye. Other students check their classmates out through the mirror, indirectly. A disappointment was that some girls choose to wear the transparent skirts with their leotards. This puts off the beatiful effect of a leotard somewhat, but there are others who wear simply the leotard and tights,and like doing so. A good class is all in the teacher! If you did not enjoy the class,get a new teacher. I had one teacher show up to teach in sweats! She even admitted she was not that interested in ballet (yoga was her specialty) I quit! The other teacher was much more thrilled to have me. She frequently corrected by adjusting my tight-clad legs and feet, and even adusting my hips and squatting to hip-level to hold my knees. Now there's a good teacher! The class also had very frisky girls who looked forward to take their position at the barre next to me in class. No partnering as yet, but I did get the chance to hold another girls arm as we elegantly ran acrooss the studio floor in a combination. As I arrived at the other end, I saw girls looking at me with that far-off, fixed, daze-like expression one gives to objects of fascination (or fetish)...They were enjoying it too! Once again, I recommend community colleges or univesities for good classes, although it the class DOES go on your transcripts whoops! Answers to this message: |
