Look Balletboned...if ballet dancing is your dream, as it is mine and many other males' dream, you don't need to be afraid of going to classes.  If you do what's in your heart and you do your best work, it doesn't matter what other people think about you.

You said you were young, but didn't say how young.  Give an age or age range.  I'll bet that once you're older you'll see that it's a shame to waste your younger years NOT doing what your heart tells you to do!  Please accept this strange fact, and go on with your life NOW, when you're still young.  You'll see lots of postings from men who are sorry they did not pursue a career in ballet when they were young.

Don't get hung up on this masculine/feminine thing.  Everybody is different and everybody will have characteristics that might be considered, by the stupid society, to be masculine or feminine.  These are artificial distinctions.  I've found that I have to live with myself, so I learned to accept me for what I am, be it masculine, feminine, or non-gendered, be it smart or dumb, be it pretty or ugly, etc.

GO TO CLASS!  LOVE BALLET!  LOVE YOURSELF FOR WHO YOU ARE!
