He said he could take me right away, and I asked him to do my hair and eyebrows like his.>He gave me a cut, a body perm, and bleached my hair white blonde. Then he trimmed and waxed my eyebrows. When he showed me the finished results I couldn't recognize myself. I was so awesomely pretty.>I went to the Capezio store, and tried on leotards. I talked and acted in a feminine way that before I'd only done in private. The salesgirl was real nice to me, and acted like everything was perfectly normal. I bought a shiny blue thong leotard that looks and feels so completely cool.>I ran into a old friend later in the day. He asked me what I'd done to my hair, and I told him it was for my next ballet recital. I let my voice sound moderately sissy when I told him.>The femimine side of me is my real self. To pretend I'm masculine when I'm really not is to deny my real self. I guess I've "come out."
