They are sized in a different way than normal foot wear. The best way to ensure a good fit is send a foot tracing of your feet to New York Dancewear. I have ordered two pairs of pointe shoes from them, and they fit great and look fabulous!!! The people at New York Dancewear didn't even bat an eye when I ordered my pointe shoes for my size 13 feet!! The type of leotard I'd reccomend is a Baltogs Lycra Spandex turtleneck, long sleeved, back zipper leotard. It is item # BT8708. I love to be completely covered up!!!!
