Hey Depon...they're called trunks!

I also picked up a few cheerleader-style dance panties (I don't know what they're called-in my old home town, they were known as "lollipops") in purple, white, and good ol' basic black.

Those panties are called "trunks" in the trade.  If anyone is going to order them on-line, look under the ladies' stuff for "trunks," although I've seen one site where they're just called briefs.

Trunks are great!  I have several pair.  I like wearing them to my ballet classes in the summer, with dancebelt (I always wear a dancebelt! but that's one of my preferences!) and a short t-shirt.  They show the muscles of the legs off soooo nicely!

You can also wear them at the pool.  They're lighter (and hence more daring!) than a speedo, and the higher waist is reminiscent of the old 40's bathing suits that guys used to wear.  You can also roll-down the waist-band for a nice effect if you want.
