I wore Capezio pointe shoes, usually about a womens size 9 ( I wear a mens street shoe size 7 1/2 ) .My instructor was very helpful and she gave me many tips.I did not bother to dye them, I wore them pink (and wore pink tights also-who cares about the color?!) I think that the best way to purchase them is with the tracing method mentioned by the others. Or go into the store and buy them.
