Being gothic myself, I can tell you that girls and guys alike almost always wear some kind of tights, and they are very very welcoming as long as you don't condemn our lifestyle. Not all goths are depressed Mansonites, and even if you're not like that yourself, they shouldn't exclude you. (If you ask me, gothic girls are sooooo hot compared to, say, preppi cheerleader types. Though I've known a few who were just far too into that whole "I'm a creature of the night" stuff, I've always found Goths, male and female, to be pretty interesting people. Now that you mention it, they have been pretty instrumental in portraying tights as cool things for men and women to wear (and most of them look pretty sexy in 'em to boot). And if it weren't for certain goths, I probably would've never read Clive Barker or Anne Rice.
