They wont run.  I have dyed four pairs last year and they haven't shown any signs of fading so far and I wear them all the time.

The other two times I've tried to respond didn't work.  Here goes three:The M. Stevens tights I tried were cotton blend.  They did use the aforementioned dye.  No, I didn't meet your friend, but I did meet a woman named Sonia who was just great.
