written by Seamless at on 10.04. at 20:55:46 Anyway, I'm 1/20 of the way there. Seems like it'll take forever. I don't have a sewing machine, unfortunately... although... hmmm... I might be able to borrow one from my parents. Would anyone have any advice on how to proceed? Should I take out the old elastic (carefully), and buy some new elastic to replace it with? Or is the "add-on" elastic fine enough? This is a classic lavender MStevens longsleeve footed unitard with scoop neck, and I just can't see tossing it (I've sewn up the seams in several places when they began to separate over the years, and it is still holding together well).
