Many in my collection I have not worn, I buy them when I see something new (I'm checking out the Splash City Tights you saw on that web site - all those great colors!!) regarding colors,>or styles (I love very opaque stretchy tights).>I buy lots of them if the price is good. I like collecting them. The reason I have a lot of them also, is because since I wear these to ballet class (and because these are womens tights) to get adequate opacity I usually have to wear multiple pairs (sometimes 3-4 pairs!). I store most of them in my walk in closet. On >occasion I will donate some to the goodwill or whatever (most of my crappy Danskin/Capezio mens tights recently).> I am in the process of going thru and thinning out my collection somewhat and may sell a whole bunch of these (many are still in the package). We will see what happens.> Regarding my favorite brand (Nordstroms), I emailed the Nordstroms site >and ordered from them direct (you can also find these in the stores>the girls there know me well (as the guy who takes ballet),>however internet is far easier for me).> The style number is:7844> there is a # above the UPC code ,1047 113247> And the UPC code is 0 15859 55361 4> Price 12.00 (wait for their 1/2 year sales! much cheaper 7.00 pr)> I wear a Q3 (Queen size). I'm 5'7 1/2" and they easily fit me with PLENTY OF MORE STRETCH! The package says that they will fit 5'4''-6'0'' 210-290 lbs.> That should work for you. Be sure to order these (if you decide to do this over the net) thru their email. You won't find them on their website! You must ask.> Be sure to give them ALL the info. I would buy a few pairs (same color). You can always rotate them to get longer wearing out of them. They're great. My wife and I swear by them! Good luck.--Hi JPWT, thanks for the great detail! It's funny--I was thinking about this last year, that hosiery companies often discontinue a style and start a new one almost seasonally. Imagine a hosiery collection that appreciates in value! Remember Danskin Suburban tights? Nice thick and stretchy, though 100% nylon. Very well made. Discontinued in the mid 70's. Probably $3 new. Mint-in-package could easily go for $12 (for someone who appreciates them). Wow, great info on the Nordstrom brand. Size Q3 would definitely do. When is their half-yearly sale? Do you know where I could find out the range of colors? ~Seamless~ Answers to this message:
