written by Darcey at on 01.05. at 10:27:01 About five or six years ago the Joffrey Ballet toured with a show called "Billboards" - Monica and I were lucky enough to see it in London.I don't want to go over the top here but it was/is an absolute must for any Ballet Fetishist and I'm surprised that it hasn't (to my knowledge) got a mention here. The show consists of a series of dances to songs by PRINCE (you know the diminutive purple one!)There were four dances - 1. Sometimes it snows in April2. Thunder/Purple Rain3. Slide4. Willing and Able.Now I don't know about you but I find Prince songs a little sexy and provocative anyway so add in the dimension of Ballet dancers (can you imagine the costumes?) it was most definately the horniest show that I have EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!I've still got the show programme (you wouldn't throw it away would you?)so I'll give you a "little taster" of what the dancers were wearing. For Slide Beartrice Rodrguez, Lissette Salgado and Deborah Dawn are wearing a footless fishnet unitard with black satin poite shoes with pink/flesh ribbons. To cover their modesty, under the unitard they are wearing a skimpy bikini in Black, Red and Blue respectively!!!! I would really recommend that you get to see the show if they still tour with it. I beleive that there might be a video of the show as well and it would certainly be worth getting hold of. I know that a number of people post on this message board from the Chicago area. Can you tell me any more about the show etc? I feel that we need know!!!! Love darcey xx p.s. one last thing to end off a very horny night - there was a stall in the Theatre foyer after the show selling the Ballerinas used pointe shoes - about fifty pairs on sale still with ribbons etc - like I said, a fetishists dream come true.
