I'd love to become an active presence on this board. >I'll get to the point: My wife is leaving on a business trip for two weeks and, although I've tried to repress my fetish, I'm in the position to indulge my secret passion. I wanted to ask, what online dancewear supplier would you recommend? When I was younger, I could strut into any dancewear shop, tell some crazy story, try on ballet slippers, buy some tights and walk out to my car without fear. Sadly, This is no longer an option. I know that I'd look like a freak and that would greatly diminish the fantasy for me.--

Welcome!  I always wonder how many people are out there, anonymously and silently reading these postings.  It's always nice to hear a new enthusiastic voice appear from the darkness.

Curious, your situation.  Is this repressed fetish also unknown to your wife?  Sounds like it may be.  Well, you don't have many options, given that you've got just two weeks.  You probably want to start right away.  Ordering from an online dancewear store with priority delivery may get you something within a week, and then you'll lose that precious time.  If that's ok, then you have a variety of choices.  Go to the link below for a few decent sources.

Other options:  1) A distant dancewear store;  look up in the phone book of a nearby large city and get store hours and directions, then head over at your convenience.  Yes, it will be embarrassing.  But you've done it before.  It couldn't have been too long ago, being 29.  Just tap into the feelings you had then and run with it.  A remote store will give you tremendous freedom too--no worries on being spotted by people you know.  2)  Go to a mall store that has women's hosiery.  Your size will dictate availability.  If you are under 5' 10" and less than 170lbs, most large size women's hosiery will fit you.  If you are taller, then you have to dip into those 1x, 2x, 3x sizes for standard tights.  Most of the time, they are designed for short overweight women so the fit may not be great if you're not overweight.  If you are near 6' and 190lbs, you can tap into Donna Karan hosiery in size large--although relatively expensive, they're very well made and many styles are sufficiently opaque.

Hope that helps!
