I challenge all on this board to at least give ballet a try. You'll be surprised to find out how hard, yet beneficial it can be.>>PS>>Yes, it's me the tights lover formerly known as The Riddler. Dancer at last will be the new name I use on this board. I'm planning on making it my e mail address to.>-->DancerAtLast, congratulations on your first class! I'm very happy to hear of your positive experience, and that you are truly motivated to give it your best shot. Great, great news!>About the fetish, yes, I've heard of this too where any "fetish" interests are quickly subverted by the intensity of the class. Also, IMHO, the standard 100% nylon full fashioned mens tights don't feel great to me (I've tried them before, with absolutely no arousal whatsoever).>How many men were in the class? How unprepared did you feel, compared to everyone else in the class? How did your interactions with the women go? Did you feel very accepted? Also, any recommendations on physical work to do a few months before hand to get ahead (like ham string stretches)?>Again, congrats!>~Seamless~ I was the only guy in my ballet class. It was just me, the teacher and four girls. I did not wear tights of any kind. Funny thing isn't it?? But because of my notso athletic build, I felt more secure wearing a Baltogs, tank, footed black lycra spandex unitard, and of course, the required dancebelt. I tried on the Capezio men's tights, but I hate nylon tights!!! I've been into lycra spandex tights, leotards and unitards for many years, so I love the feel of lycra spandex. I wore a large white tee shirt, white socks and black ballet slippers. I felt like the typical male dance student, all dressed in proper attire. As I said, the class was hard. Much harder than I ever imagined. I was watching the girls (ranging in age from 17 to 45) in absolute awe!!! I'm hoping that as my classes continue, I'll feel a lot less like a clumsy elephant. At least our teacher was strict, but supportive, not to mention young and beautiful!!! Answers to this message: |
