There are two kinds of commitment, one not very important, theother absolutely essential. The unimportant one is showing upfor every single class without ever missing one. Very few peoplecan do this; we all lead busy lives. (Hey, I'm retired...& I*still* lead a busy life.) This is why adult classes are nearlyalways "drop in" classes instead of a course in which you signup for a full semester & undertake to show up every time. Adultsjust can't make that kind of commitment. The essential one is persisting. Taking at least one class aweek if you can't manage three, & sticking with it week in & weekout, not giving yourself a month or two off here & there. Thatkind of commitment is the only one that works, & if your affairsprohibit that, well, then, yes, I can see why you hesitate. In such a case, you're right to do so. Tom
