I saw a guy gettingready for class this morning, putting on a shiny maroon nylon-lycra unitard. I thought that was pretty bold, & sure enoughhe drew on something rather like warmup pants...but they weremaroon, too! So red unitards are not unknown, & I have onemyself (red, not maroon, short sleeved, footed, by M. Stevens)which I've been known to wear to class when I want to be morethan usually outrageous (& when I'm reasonably confident thatI'll dance well, since if I do badly I'd rather not draw atten-tion to myself).
