If I may ask, which make, material and colors of tights do you think are the best in the water, and which make of slippers are the best?>Also, how did you discover the pleasures of wearing tights as swimwear? This may strike the purists out there as heresy, but we just use the cheap drugstore-rack type, about $3 a pair. We're rather hard on them, and rarely do they last past a single wearing. Just too expensive to use good ones. We do have some full leotards for slower, mellower play (black for me, dark red patterned velour catsuit for Marie). I'm not well versed in the specifics of fabrics, sorry. For slippers, we have Bloch, Capezio, Leos, & some no-names. All are O.K., but I especially prefer Bloch. Fits like a driving glove, dries out good as new, just set in front of a fan. I didn't really "discover" the pleasure of wet dancewear, (sort of like discovering that breathing air is good!) it just seemed an obvious combination. I've always loved the weightless, flying sensation from swimming, and what is more sexy & feminine than a ballerina? (THE FULL GROWN ADULT TYPE, THANK YOU-BOOPOLA!) Add in the risque aspect of a non-dancer male (me) in tights & slippers, & you have all the ingredients for an evening of heart-BANG-BANG-BANGing-in-your-chest passion! When she starts gliding her way across the shaky, way-too-small-for-the-job plank (topless, black tights, white anklets for contrast, black leather slippers) it's all I can do not to explode from just the sight! It's a treat I don't get often enough, but then, every night wouldn't be enough! I'm very fortunate to be married to her. Answers to this message:
