>Hey D! Cheers for stickin up for me earlier. *makes a peace sign, 'cos she's blasted* Right now Jay's out chillin with his friend Cassie(who hooked him and his girl up) and I'm here watching the widescreen version of Dune completely blastered. I just got out of the shower, and I'm now in my "pj's", as it were, white shimmery tights and a black oversize t-shirt. (woowee!)>Laters,>Mentat Angelina Mayfield>P.S. I almost forgot you'd mentioned the 2000 remake of Dune. We've got it. The special effects are 2000ish, the "traveling without moving" bit especially. This one's much more faithful to the book, as well. The "Weirding Way" is more accurately depicted, especially. My $0.02. I recommend it, though, because despite the acting failures in some of the characters(Paul, especially...) it's well written.>A.M.

>>>Anytime, my queen! And I like the outfit (though aren't shimmery tights a little on the rough side, texture-wise? My first girlfriend was fond of shimmery beige tights, and they felt like 0-grade sandpaper! This was the 80's though, they've probably got that lil' problem licked by now...) I'm in my mauve Hues (royal blue trunks and my Tchaikovsky T-shirt), listening to my favorite swedish band, Cinnamon (album's called "The Many Moods of Cinnamon," and features my favorite song from last year (and this was in a year that saw the first new XTC music in about four years!) a number entitled "Maybe In the Next Life." Awe-inspiring pop!) and leafing through the new Discount Dance Supply Catalogue. Dull night, but I'll soon change that!-Depon

>>>P.S. This goes for all you cats, but especially for Miz Ang: Have you ever read William Gibson's "Neuromancer," or Neal Stephenson's "Snow Crash?" I think you'd dig 'em. If you read "Snow," however, remember to skip over the FORTY PAGE LECTURE ON BABYLONIAN HISTORY AND MYTHOLOGY! The rest is rockin' science fiction. How can you not love a book wherein the Hero/Protagonist goes by the name of "Hiro Protagonist?"
