More Partnering

written by   on 01.01. at 01:00:00
Oh well, I thought, try again later. Being a new teacher, she at least had taken me up on my suggestion to increase partnering activities to make her class more interesting and keep the attendance up (I know for a fact ballet classes would be 500% more popular if they did a pure partnering class like waltz or tango).

I was smirking away from the  conversation when a voice suddenly calls out from the side,

"You're interested in partnering?"

It was the late thirtyish woman who always comes to class in balck leo and white tights (and has a nice body too).  She just came right up to me and said "here I'll show you and excersise!"  She had this wide-eyed, excited look on her face.

Anyway, she ordered me to put my hands on her hips and face the mirror (its funny how many women order me around when it comes to partnering!).  Immediately anoither female voice responded from behind me "Oh, put your hands on my hips, yeah right?!! followed by laughter.  It was the other girl who came to class in black leo and tights, but she always wears the tights OVER her leo, which is sort of a turnoff.  Anyway, she and another girl were watching, not to mention the instructor, who's askance body language sort of said "uh, leave me out of this mess."

So, I face the mirror as told, placing my hands on this ladies hips.  She tells me to close my eyes, which I didn't want to do because I was enjoying the view.So I peeked a little bit.  She said "no peeking!" Embarrassment and laughter from the sidelines.  But what she said next more than made up for it.  "You have to feel the movement."  Of course by this time I was quite preoccupied feeling her, and smiling about it.

She started moving from side to side.  I was holding her so very close my lower section was brushing up against her butt.  Then she said I should "predict" to which side she was going to go and set myself up by "feeling the movement."  After a few tries, I saw I could feel her preparation, and predict to which side she was going to side-step.  I would have been a less orthodox student if I did not have an audience of three watching our every move and laughing (the rest of the class had left already).  So we continued for a while, until she suggested I had learned (wanted to keep going but you have to take hints, right?)

I went to the corner to pick up my clothes when the girl who had made the sarcastic comment approached me (yes its true, sarcasm hides interest).  She asked me if I was into partnering and interested in more.  I said, well...YES!!

She told me they partner A LOT at her studio (this was a community college class)and invited me to attend, saying I would be welcome since they needed more boys. She really smiled a lot and drooled about how strong and sure the instructor was.

I just bit my tongue (I was dreaming, right?)

So there you have it.

I guess its off to private school for me!!!
