>>>The temporary Hallowe'en stores are starting to spring up in my neighborhood, a sure sign that tights weather isn't too far away! I checked one out on my lunch hour today, and being in a celebratory mood, I bought myself a pair of black-and-purple striped tights (I'm wearing 'em right now.) I'd always avoided these lil' numbers (Leg Avenue, BTW) in other colors because I thought they might not fit (outside the "all" again!). Not a problem, as it turns out. They feel different than high-quality tights (these are 60% poly, 40% nylon-like I said, not quality tights...) but pretty good, and they look (he said modestly) spectacular, even if they are a bit less opaque than I'd like. I think they'll look great under pants, especially if I let my pants-leg ride up when crossing! The "all" in this case is 4'10"-5'8", 95-160 lbs. I'm outside that range, natch, but they still fit pretty well! Think I'll go for the orange-and-black tomorrow...-Depon >>>P.S. I kept these a secret from Dea, for some reason. I think I want to surprise her with 'em on a date (when the weather gets cold, that is.) Lately, she's been increasingly enthusiastic about seeing (and feeling) me in tights, so I think they'll be a kick. Yeah, I know how lucky I am! Boopola! >>>P.P.S. Time to drag out the jester costume I bought (but didn't get to wear in public) last All Hallows, as I want to make some alterations on it. I wanna put bells on it, for one thing, but I'm also going to seriously shorten the tunic. What good is it wearing tights in public if your butt doesn't show? >>>P.P.P.S. The check out was fairly crawling with teenage girls while I was being rung up. I was a bit nervous, as I could picture one of the little urchins crowing "That guy's buying TIGHTS!" to all her friends, but I stayed the course. Answers to this message:
