However, I usually wash& dry new tights (& in fact anything new that's highly colored)separately the first time just in case anything bleeds out.(Whether anything actually has I can't remember any more.) (Steven dyes their dancewear with Rit. They said it was the kindmost free of toxic substances.) Tom
