Balletlover - Balletmania
written by The Riddler on 07.11. at 22:08:13 - as answer to: "Center Stage" by Man in Tights at I'm both a movie fan, and a die hard tights / ballet fetishist and I thought that "Center Stage" has a pretty lame, very recycled plot that is right out of Busby Berkley's "42nd Street". It is also filled with just about every ballet stereotype you can imagine. I did love how beautiful young Amanda Schull was and I loved all the great scenes of dozens of ballerinas in their pink tights, black leotards and pointe shoes. So all in all, I'd give "Center Stage" a 10 for scenery, but a 4 for story line!!!! Answers to this message: |
