A while ago, a friend stayed over and wanted to join me for an early morning run but he only had his running shoes. I put out a pile of running kit for him to choose from - tops, shorts, sweat bottoms and some lycra running tights. Even though I had already changed into a pair of tights I was still surprised that he chose the lycra. At the end of the run I asked casually what he thought about running in tights for the first time. 'They felt great' he said and he didn't exactly rush to change out of them afterwards. Now he has his own tights and thinks nothing of going running in them with me, his wife or on his own. Maybe most guys would wear tights given the opportunity?
