I rummaged through the laundry (carefully, I had no interest in the underthings of anybody else who lived there!)I found her previously worn pair of forest-green tights. I must confess, I slipped them over my hands (alas, she was at least a size smaller than me,) and kissed my fingers, pretending that they were her toes. Sad, or what?-Depon--Nah, not sad at all.
