Coco and Via Venezia

>>>That's the target of tonight's toast, tightsguys. Why? Because they were the first c0mpanies I've seen putting out REALLY vibrant colors for the fall (Bloomingdales.) VV was sporting some very rich blues and greens, Coco a SERIOUS "Willie the Space Freak" (obscure ref) orange, both some sweet fuschias and purples. Hue's in there slugging too, but these two are the first true darlings of the new regime. No downside! Either gals will be slipping these on in force, or we'll be able to snap 'em up at next to nothing at the end of the season. Hooray! Now, if we can only get average temps into TWO DIGITS, we'll be all set, Conan the Governor, or not!-D

>>>P.S. Same shopping trip, Dea was trying on (a lot) of shoes. She wore mauve Hues for the occaision (basically to keep me awake,) and I was in black Ralph Laurens (under my pants, o' course.) Anyway, at one store, just as Dea was dragging me to yet another display of footwear, I caught a glimpse of a gal in her twenties trying on some super-high-heeled strappies. In WAY white opaques. She had one shoe on, the other off, so one foot was en pointe as she twinkled about. Dea was amiably jealous, and made sure I had something to distract me, even though the gal kept walking past, again and again. Quite the embaraassment of riches, and I got the specific feeling from the lass that she had deduced my "thang," and was enjoying the attention. Sorry I couldn't get ye her #, but once Dea sets out to erase my mind...
