Try private lessons. It took me many months and quite a bit of talking, but I finally found a dance studio not too far from my home that offers private ballet lessons and a teacher who will permit me to wear my pink tights and black leotard and be the ballerina I've long dreamed of being. She did need some convincing and made only a few conditions. I can't reveal where the studio is, I can't reveal who the teacher is and I have to go to the studio after normal hours. But hell, it's worth it to finally find acceptance. I am now so happy to be given serious ballet lessons by a professional ballet teacher while I'm clad in my ballet pink tights, black leotard and pink ballet slippers!!! So if you want to dance in your pink tights, try private lessons!!! Answers to this message:
