Hip indeed I am to both the totally righteous Ranma 1/2, as well as the whole Dawn/Angry Christ thang. Linsner's art is the kind that makes a fledgling c0mic artist feel naught but awe. And as for the tights-queen of Takahashi-sama's work, that laurel rests squarely on the ink-and-paint noggin of Ranma 1/2's Ukkyo. My kind of costume design!>>>Domestic, and not nearly as high-quality (too often the case these days as well,) there was Barry Blair, who did a metric shitload of Elfquest-inspired black-and whites during the late eighties, but also some rather tightsful titles ("a lot of alliteration form anxious anchors in powerful posts," as Albert Brooks would say, right after "Jesus Christ! That guy's in tights!," of course...) such as "Leather and Lace," an adult c0mic which was full to the margins with guys and gals in tights. One-of-us, I'd bet, but it ain't a patch on "Love, Hina," whose story I'm starting to get really into. Set your literary hook with romantic tension and your art with tights, and I'll be sizzling in the pan, if'n ya git me.-Depon ("I have no formal training. I did my very best. I regret nothing."-W. Hung, all-around cool cat.) >>>P.S. Did you ever see that thing where they described what a woman with Barbie's physique would look like? Weirder than tits on a bishop, I can tell ye.
