And thanks for relaying the stats from your friend... very good point--when you know that someone is turned on by something, you have a good chance of finding a way to indulge in it also (if you really care about them), as long as it isn't simply repulsive. Although I have met some women that outright just hate wearing hose (one declared mid-spring is her favorite time of the year because she can shed the pantyhose for about 4 months straight!). How'd j get that girl turned around?? It does make me wonder, though... in slightly cooler air, would pantyhose or tights feel more c0mfortable? I'd say tights, because they're more "cushiony" and I doubt pantyhose do much for warmth (perhaps aside from the thicker sheer lycra versions).
