I'm not sure what "cup/paste" is but maybe you should calm down before posting. It's obvious you're tripping over your own trembling fingers in your desperation. Why contribute to the growing illiteracy and dumbing-down of our society through hasty, ill-composed missives when you could strive toward stronger, better articulated postings?

Noel Coward isn't funny. Robert Benchley isn't unfunny. I merely brought them up in ironic comparison to your own critique of Not Impressed's earlier entry. The point being, your response to Not Impressed suffered such a dearth of intelligence, humor and lucidity that your attempt at a witty retort fell well short of the mark. You'd have to brush up on your writing if you ever wanted to reach even the lowliest lows of Mr. Coward's ancient, humorless output.

So, before you launch into another boring tirade against the lack of sophistication in our modern world, you should take the time to proofread your writing - it only takes a second and it can keep you from looking like a fool.

Peace, as they say, out.

Love, Dick Cavett

P.s. It's "grammar" not "grammer".

>Oops, blew the cup/paste in the last post... try this.>Oh my gosh... you must be my old english teacher! I would have thought you drank yourself into the gutter by now, along with your pissy stick-up-the-ass concern about grammer/spelling in an informal forum.. my god, I bet you organize your socks in little, neat perfect pairs assorted by color...>By the way, dropping Noel Coward as a name to aspire to is a joke in itself. Yeah, I always wanted to write musicals! To quote your hero...>"I believe in doing what I can,>In crying when I must,>In laughing when I choose.">... and I choose to laugh at you, Robert Benchley. Good luck, Bob. You have several lifetimes ahead of you correcting all the crappy English on the web.
