I really liked the Splits themselves, but I would eagerly await any appearance by a member of the rival gang, "The Sour Grapes Bunch." They were all girls who were around my age (at the time,) and they wore minidresses with tights and contrasting panties underneath. Even better for my young and already out-of-control sexuality, they would go-go dance their way through every appearance, which made those little dresses fly up constantly. They show the BS on boomerang, I think, but the show is only half-an-hour long, and the Sour Grapes Bunch are totally absent, for obvious reasons...-D >I agree that cartoon was the bomb. The sixties and seveties were total tights decades. Also what got me hooked was how they would hypnotize the people to be their slaves, and they would wear the gear. MMM it was awesome.
