You'd be surprised how much fun ballet can be!!!>.>.>.>>>>>>>>>>I assume by the way your post is phrased, that this is a class for adults with no prior experience. I, for one, would like to hear how things go. As a guy with precisely zero music or dance talent, I find it interesting when someone breaks away from inhibitions and apprehensions, to try something really new. Are you the only guy in the class? Is it a zing being around all those women with both you & they in ballet attire? (And if so, do the women notice your "zing"?!) Details, man, details! Later!- Vic

Vic,Yes, I am the only guy in my ballet class. Yes, it is a trip and a half to wear tights in a dance studio with two women wearing their pink tights and black leotards. However, once the class starts, you'd be surpised how fast you stop staring at the dancers and start sweating. I'm taking ballet lessons for two main reasons. The first, and most obvious is to satisfy my tights fetish. The other is to use ballet to try to get my aging body in shape. Ballet is a pretty thorough workout for the entire body. I highly reccomend you try it. Don't worry about not being a dancer or being that coordinated. The teachers who instruct adults in ballet know that very few of their students will be anything special. I certainly have no plans on performing or trying to join a dance company. I know I'll never be a great dancer. I'm just trying to be a guy who is doing what he can to get into shape, and get a cheap thrill while doing it!!
