I wear gold ballet slippers, other women wear gymnastic shoes or Chinese slippers. Going barefoot is dangerous (splinters, glass) and gross (fungus). I hear ya there, usually my class starts by sweeping up. I guess the barefoot thing is supposed to represent a more intimate connection to Mother Earth, 'cos she's the one we're dancing on so we should treat lightly on her. Answers to this message: |
