Alan, Jockey makes some comfortable[briefs-style] underwear that is made out of a nylon-like stretch material, white, grey and black. I have not seen a nylon-only thong, but you can get cotton/lycra blend thong dance belts from Capezio. NorthFace makes some tights that are soft fleece[like new sweat pants] on the inside and are of stretch material on the outside.
