Not counting the two pair in my dresser, I've seen 'em around, mostly in the fall (when stores really seem to fill out their tights selection). If you don't mind going the fashion tights route, try Hue opaques. In a month or so, even your department store brands should have red in their selection. If you want super-opaque ones, I recommend Macy's Charter Club. They're my personal favorites.
