>>IVE BEEN DOING POINTS FOR A YEAR I HAVE FOOT PROTECTION ITS REALLY EXPENSIVE AND THE SHOP RECOMENDED IT BUT IT DOESUNT WORK DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY GOOD FOOT PROTECTION??? >Personal, i think its a grin and bare it thing - no-one siad it wouldnt hurt - jst make sure your shoes fit really well and that you are pulled up outa the shoes. the pros and ex-pros i know never use(d) padding. just be thankfull your pointe shoes have blockes as opposed to the barned satin of the origionals! :P>i dunno tho - theres "ouch pouches" dunno if they work, or u can use lambs wool -but dont use cotton wool as it goes hard when it dryes out after use.

If your pointe are hurting you too much, they are probably the wrong size. Whenever you buy pointes you must make sure that they fit you properly!!
