Auditioning Male and Female Ballet Dancers - New York City An all-dance stage adaptation of the Warner Brothers classic film, Casablanca, choreographed and directed by John Clifford is in need of male and female ballet dancers for an international tour to China. 12 week minimum commitment with STRONG possibility of extension. NON-UNION contract with UNION SCALE compensation. Rehearsals begin in Mid-March with Beijing opening in early April 2005. Seeking: Male and female dancers with STRONG ballet training and experience, Corps de Ballet and Soloist contracts, with one female principal contract available. Performance experience with National/International ballet company(s) a plus. Audition will consist of a short ballet class and selected choreography from the show. Dancers of all ethnicities are encouraged to attend this call. Ladies - Bring pointe and low-heeled character shoes, pics and resumes.Men - Bring ballet and soft-soled jazz shoes, pics and resumes.
