Our Professional Staff:

Are educated in the anatomy and diseases of the foot and ankle.Know how shoes are made and what makes a shoe fit properlyUse shoe inserts to make your feet feel more comfortableAre up-to-date on manufacturers' latest styles in prescriptionand dance footwear.Can modify shoes to accommodate foot problemsKeep up with the latest advances in the science of pedorthics.Pedorthist and Pedorthic shoe fitter who also holds a Doctorate in Physiotherapy and Biomechanics on staff.

                  * Job Description & Requirements:                  Artistic Foot Models needed for Theatrical Foot Modeling and Movement project. Includes: -- Artistic Studio Foot Modeling, Non-Traditional Dance and Movement Components as well as various character development elements where applicable.

This is a Paid Position with very flexible scheduling options, paid training and perks. Applicatants should ideally be within reasonable travel time within the Pittsburgh area as there are currently no paid expense provisions for travel time, However, we do consider photos that you can provide if you're not in the area. Send to our attention via email some of your best example shots of your feet in both pointe and ballet shoes(if applicable), as well as pictures of your bare feet (showing your pointe and arch).

Requirements:Dancers with strong pointe skills highly encouraged but not required. Also: flexible dancers / gymnasts / high to very high arched feet / very curvy(c-shaped)toe-pointe.

PLEASE NOTE:There are two paid opportunites available for this project.

(1) ON SITE POSITION:On site working with our studio movement company as described above.

(2) NON-ON SITE POSITION:You can send us pictures of your high arched feet/ c-shaped toe pointe that we can use in relatiion to this project. -- To qualify for this option you should send us some sample pictures of your feet in the following positions:1] IN POINTE SHOES (ON POINTE)

2] IN BALLET SHOES (SHOWING YOUR ARCHED FEET)

3] BARE FEET WITH YOUR TOES POINTED SO THE SIDE CURVE AND TOE POINTE CAN BE SEEN EASILY.

4] SOME OVERALL DANCE PRESENTATION POSITIONS (i.e. attitude etc.)

(IN PITICULAR, SIDE PROFILES ARE VERY GOOD AT SHOWING THESE FEATURES SO THE SIDE CURVE AND TOE POINTE CAN BE SEEN EASILY.)

Only very good quality pictures are usable with this option and we will pay for the pictures of those that qualify for this option on a reoccurring level.

The ideal qualified applicants that wish to send pictures to us should have "high to very high arches" and or a "very curvy c-shaped toe pointe", or both such features.
