Written by Rachel at / am 03 Jan 2000 05:31:29: Hi I'm sixteen years old and I've just started learning ballet. I know I am starting way later than the average ballerina - but I absolutely love it. I've had 7years of jazz so I already have good technique and turnout. I want to continue with the art and hope to some day teach. So what I'm looking for is some career advice. I have big plans for ballet if I am able to do it. I want to open up my own studio. I want to buy shoes straight from the manufacturers so I can sell them to my dancers at face value, and I want to re-invent toes shoes. And maybe when I get enough money I will open up a studio where I can teach dance for a very low cost to kids who couldn't otherwise afford it. Some day I would like to dance while an actual piano player plays live for me. I want to get my degree in dance and in dance history. All of this is very idealistic of me - since I've only just started and don't know much about ballet yet. Which is why I am asking for some career advice. How do I get started and what would you suggest be my plan of action in this situation? I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give me. But please e-mail me becuase I don't check the message board often. Thanks, LoveRachel(rachel_e_evans@hotmail.com) Antworten zu diesem Beitrag: |
