If you are seriously considering applying for the above opening with Ballet Arkansas and would like more information on the background of the organization, please feel free to contact me.  I was at different times a student, company member and faculty instructor between 1979 and 1998 (under several artistic directors, including the Hathaways).  I am no longer affiliated with the organization from an employment standpoint, as I now live and work in a high-tech start-up in Austin, Texas (train with Ballet Austin and perform with the Austin Dance Ensemble part-time).  I remain a patron of Ballet Arkansas and am in touch with a variety of stakeholders in the organization.  If you are interested in an "outsider" viewpoint, please send a message. I won't pretend to be unbiased under the current circumstances, but I can provide a historical perspective, as well as a summary of the current situation from all sides.
