I am currently teaching ballet part-time at a studio on Sat. and next year will teach tap and jazz as well on Sat. I am looking to pick up more hours in the Toronto area. I am currently teaching ballet at a Russian studio to young children, but grew up with a Cechetti teacher and took C.D.T.A. exams in ballet, tap and jazz up to the intermediate level. I plan to go for my Associate C.D.T.A. membership in jazz and ballet in Nov. of 2000.I have a degree in dance from York University and have been teaching dance part-time for eight years. I have taught mainly young children ages 3-9 in the above three techniques and have also taught some modern. But, have done a lot of substitute teaching for alll levels of dancers (including adults) and feel comfortable with them all.
