EDUCATION 1976 - 1985 - studied in Vaganova Ballet Academy under the direction of N. M. Dudinskay                      1985 -  Graduated from Vaganova Ballet Academy.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER. 1984 -  Received second prize and silver medal of the All-Union  Ballet Competition in Moscow.1985 -  Joined the Kirov (Maryinsky) Ballet Company as dancer of corps de ballet1990 -  Promoted to rank of the Principal Dancer of the Maryinsky Ballet.

While in the theater, worked and trained with the following teachers: I. Kolpakova, V. Semenov, E.Evtieva, E.Evdokimovaand the following partners: Peter Shaufuss, F.Ruzimatov, A.Liepa, K.Zaklinsky and others.

Between 1986 to the present toured with the company of the Kirov Ballet, and as the guest artist, in the USA, Canada, Japan, China, Germany, England, Korea, Italy, Spain, Brazil and more other countries of the world.

Participated in many Gala concerts including:Le Don Des Etoiles (1989, Montreal)  World Ballet Festival (1991,Japan)Dance Festival "Noites de Bailado em Seterais"(1999,Portugal)Danced as visiting guest artist with ODU Ballet (1998 - USA)

REPERTOIREAs Principal Dancer have performed leading roles including the following:Giselle  in "Giselle"Aurora in "The Sleeping Beauty" Juliet  in  "Romeo and Juliet"Masha in "The Nutcracker"Sylphide in "La Sylphide"Maria in "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai"Shirin  in "The Legend of Love"Solo parts in "Chopiniana"Solo parts in "The Scottish symphony"Cinderella  in "Cinderella" Solo parts   in " The Emeralds" by G.BalanchinSolo parts   in "The Fading leaves"Diverse on style and character concert numbers and many other roles.

Thin, emotional perusal of a role,accuracy and finality of in-terpretation of the choreographic textare intrinsical to a per-forming manner of the ballerina.
