You got the punch-line all messed up, though!<p>After the straight-man asks "why do you like tights?" the comic starts off by saying "Why do I like tights? (in astonishment)..." the routine goes on for about a minute or two then ends as follows...<p> "and the reason I like elephants is .... because they DON'T take the number thirteen bus!"<p>I did see it done once in a gay club in NYC in the late sixties, but instead of a girl, there was a guy who walked across stage just in tights. The comic added lines about the guy that were hillarious, better than the lines about the girl!!!!<p>Careful how you phrase those CLASSIC punch-lines!
