I insist that they wear ballet pink Capezio ballet tights with a black leotard. Pantyhose are too sheer, run too easily and don't provide the freedom of movement that ballet tights allow. I strongly feel that wearing the tradtional attire to a ballet class, helps the students look, and feel more like dancers, and not like pepole who've just walked in off the street.
