she then asked me which school she went to and I gave her the name of my dance school she then looked in her book and went to find the items needed. She soon was back carrying a blue shiny nylon/lycra camisole leotard pink tights and a box of a pair of pink satin ballet shoes. I bought them and left the store.
I thought to myself you idiot you'd look a twit it a girls leotard tights and shoes. I cancelled two weeks dance lessons and told my teacher that the shop were in the process of ordering them, I soon went back two weeks later and put up the courage to tell the sales lady that the outfit was for me not for my sister.
It was a different lady in the shop and she was friendly and understood why I bought items for my sister. She told me not to be scared and many men do ballet nowadays. she asked me which dance school I went to and I told her she then looked in her book and looked in a drawer and brought me this cotton catsuit. I tried the catsuit on and it didn't fit she then took the cotton catsuit off me and told me that I was a bit big for a mens catsuit and she went into the back and brought me a Ladies black nylon/lycra sleevless catsuit, I tried that on and it fitted superbly I said that the lycra catsuit was fine and I asked her if I needed a pair of tights and she told me that was up to me and what I was comfortable in I then decided on a pair of tights and a pair of dance socks and I then asked about ballet shoes and she asked what size I was I told her I was an 11/12 and she repied I'm afraid we don't do mens shoes in that size but you could try a ladies shoe which I did and it was a nice blue satin full sole shoe and I was happy so I bought all the items and went home happy
I took the girls leotard tights and shoes to my local charity shop
the moral of this story is pluck up courage boys hen you go into women run dancewear shops and tell them you do dance and you need a uniform for class don't tell them your sister or your girlfriend neesds them otherwise you will turn up to your class looking a prick as you have bought womens dance clothes instead of mens and hey you'll have the girls giggling at you [/i]
