Once in the past I bought at Baum's on 11th Street, but I was uncomfortable there with the innocently nosey middle-aged saleslady--what I wanted the tights for was none of her business. Then a friend who worked in theater told me about the Rosin Box. I like going to a shop where I can buy dancewear from a guy who is used to selling dancewear to guys and who doesn't ask questions.<p><br>When I used to dance years ago I would shop there all the time since I lived in town not too far from there.<br>One time I went in and the owners daughter used to work there and she was a ballerina with the PA ballet.<br>Well, I told her that I wanted to take point and she had me try on a pair of pik point shoes and go up on releve'. I was so excited.
