Hey....that's the wrong attitude.
The low back or open back leotard/unitard was very popular for men some years back. It gave the men that ability to show the muscle development of their backs. Absolutely nothing wrong with that!
Often in performances men dance simply in a costume of dancebelt and tights. This allows the audience to appreciate the muscles of the male upper body. (That's also the reason why men tend to wear tank tops!)
I see nothing at all "feminine" about the display of the masculine musculature! I always try to wear clothing that emphasizes my well-honed and well-toned physique! I've worked hard for these hard muscles, and I like to show them!
There's nothing feminine about the male of the species "strutting his stuff!"
