But I would say that 98 per cent. ofthe time, this is an idle worry. I've seen all kinds of weirdgetups in class, & the fact is that we have too much else tooccupy our minds to worry about what people wear. Moreover, some-times people stare because they're not sure how the combinationgoes & need to watch someone else in order to get it right. Details: (a) Even with a dance belt, you may have a "major bulge"in your tights. Don't worry about it. Women in a ballet classare old enough to know about the difference between boys & girls& they aren't going to freak because some guy's endowment is alittle more conspicuous. (b) Balletboy is right: the standard isblack tights & a white T-shirt. But this isn't cast in concrete. It's O.K. to wear other colors of T-shirt, & it's also O.K. for aman to wear a leotard. (c) Yes, it's customary for men to wearthe leotard under the tights. I've never figured out why peoplethink this is so important, but some people do. On the otherhand, I've broken the rule a few times & you may have noticedthat the world hasn't come to an end. :-) Tom Antworten zu diesem Beitrag: |
