Well, yes, but. ... Early in my dancewear-buying career, I had the misfortune to run into an innocently nosey female sales clerk. She was just making conversation, I know, but she still asked far too many questions about my purchases, and it made me very uncomfortable. Fortunately, shortly after that, a friend who was involved in a lot of theater work clued me in to a dancewear store where a number of the local theater companies as well as many adult male dancers shopped, so the clerks were more accustomed to dealing with adult males. I'm much more comfortable buying tights in an environment where the staff regularly deals with adult male customers.
