And I might have added something that gave me a good laugh not too long ago. I saw an advertisement from a certain sportswear company for Spandex "leggings" aimed at athletes, part of a whole line of work-out gear that included shirts as well. Anyway, as far as I was concerned, these Spandex "leggings" were just footless tights, but I suppose some advertising genius somewhere was afraid that young straight male athletes wouldn't buy "tights," but they would buy "leggings."
